Industry Specific ComplianceThe Paradip Port Authority (PPA) on April 16, 2026, issued revision of Terminal Charges.

The circular notifies a revision in railway terminal charges based on Railway Board directives. The charges collected by Port Authorities from users for railway services have been increased from ₹30.11 per tonne (applicable from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026) to ₹31.19 per tonne for all types of traffic.

The revised rate will be applicable for the period April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2028, and will be implemented with retrospective effect from April 1, 2026. Additionally, applicable GST and other statutory levies will continue to be charged separately to consignors/consignees as per prevailing rules.
